Fall Into the Pool:
Halloween falls on Sunday this year. In elementary we are going to celebrate by having the KiDS COR Sunday morning lesson in the pool area and then “fall” into the pool for the rest of the hour. So --- bring a towel and wear your swimsuit under your clothes! We will have lifeguards on duty to be sure that our fun stays safe.

Fall Into Your Sleeping:
On Halloween, the early childhood group will enjoy a special morning. Children can bring a sleeping bag to relax in as they hear the Bible lesson, then watch a video. They can also wear their favorite pajamas and bring their special stuffed animal.

New Dates for 3rd Grade Bible Presentation

3rd Grade Bible Presentation
November 7th, 2010

Join in the Fun in Elementary Bible Theatre

Do you play an instrument, like to sing and dance, enjoy singing and working with children? We would love to have you join us in Bible Theatre. Join with the Bible Theatre team every week or just come in and have fun leading music on an occasional basis. Contact Vicki Holdman for more information.

Children Helping Children
The children at RezWest took a Noisy Offering on Labor Day weekend in the worship service which totaled about $200.00. The children’s offering has added about $100.oo to the amount. The noisy offering is being used to purchase snacks for backpacks for Ridgeview Elementary.

Compassion Child

KiDS COR also sponsors a Compassion Child, 6 year old Emely, from Honduras.

Operation Christmas Child
Beckye Steele with Operation Christmas Child will speak to children in elementary Bible Theatre on October 17th. Children will again fill shoe boxes to be distributed to children all over the world.

Kidz Artz - Coming Soon!

The fall session of the RezWest Kidz Artz program begins Thursday, October 7th. This year the children will be putting on the Christmas musical, Star of Wonder, on December 5th. The kids will have the opportunity to experience many different aspects of the arts world, including visual arts, crafts, dance, singing, and drama. The rehearsals are at the RezWest Activity Center located at 23720 W. 83rd Terrace on Thursday afternoons from 4:30-5:45. There are no auditions required. All elementary children are welcome. There will be a shorter session that will begin in November for children who are 3 and 4 years old. Questions can be addressed to Vicki Holdman with questions, 913-627-9656 or vicki.holdman@cor.org.

Family Worship 9/5/10

REMINDER:
This weekend (9/5/10) is Family Worship. This means that there will be no KiDS COR Programming for children. Children get to go to "big church" with their family.

Child care will be provided for children ages 3 and under. If you have questions feel free to contact Vicki Holdman. (Click her name to send an email!)

KiDS COR will kick off September 12th! Be there for a new year! (Watch our promo video for the upcoming year below!) We can't wait for yet another awesome KiDS COR year!

KiDS COR: Sunday School—August 1st

Today during Sunday School we had another fun KIDMO video! Ask your child what they learned from Johnny Rogers (host of KIDMO) today.

After Bible Theater we went back to our classrooms and attached pencils to pieces of paper with our names to give to students at Ridgeview Elementary.
